Narcotic Operation Nets More Than A Dozen Arrests

A joint narcotics operation lead to the arrest of over a dozen people who were linked to a suspected drug house in a west Shreveport neighborhood.

Members of the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit executed a narcotics search warrant at a home in the 3100 block of Frederick Street. During the search, agents seized about 60 grams of suspected crack cocaine and 33 Lortab tablets from inside the home. Agents arrested 35 year old Demarcus Jackson who was found inside the residence and charged him with possession of schedule II narcotics with intent to distribute in addition to possession of schedule III narcotics with intent to distribute. Jackson was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.

As the result of a reverse sting operation at the home, agents arrested 12 additional people and seized about 8.2 grams of suspected crack cocaine.
