Jessica Crandall joined the KTBS news team in January of 2013 as weekend evening anchor and health reporter. Jessica grew up on a ranch just outside of Denton, Texas and is thrilled to be back close to home.
Before moving to Shreveport, Jessica anchored weekend newscasts in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She also spent time with KSL in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Park City Television, where she covered stories like the Warren Jeffs trial and the ousting of Sen. Bob Bennett.
Jessica has a great love for words and writing, which led her into the field of broadcast journalism. She graduated from Brigham Young University with honors and has a B.A. in Communications with a minor in English. While at school in Provo, Utah, Jessica joined Golden Key International Honour Society, learned how to snowboard, and met her husband.
Jessica's sister, three brothers, and parents all live in North Texas. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, dancing, playing tennis, and catching up on sleep!
