Ed never thought that his time at KTBS 3/KPXJ CW 21 would be spent covering so many stories that would impact the country and the world.
He was at the station for only two months when he was sent to East Texas to cover the aftermath of the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster.
It would be years later that Ed would cover another story in our backyard that would forever change our state and our country. He was in South Louisiana when Hurricane Katrina smashed into New Orleans. That same year, Ed covered Hurricane Rita as it impacted Southwest Louisiana.
Ed would return to the Big Easy for one of his favorite stories of all time-- the New Orleans Saints Superbowl win.
Besides Shreveport, Ed has worked in Monroe and New Orleans, so he feels like a southern boy at heart, despite being from the Boston area. Ed now likes things a bit spicier.
You can catch Ed every weekday morning on KTBS 3 First News. He's on starting at 4:30am, which means his alarm clock goes off at 1:30am. You can also see Ed in his role as a sports broadcaster in the movie, "The Longshots".
