Chris Redford is KTBS 3's lead evening reporter, and he covers the news beats of crime and courts.

Chris is passionate about crime, because he believes it affects everyone. His identical twin brother is a New York City police officer.

He grew up in Bolivar, Missouri. He's a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Media Communications. Before joining KTBS 3, Chris worked as a reporter in Springfield, MO. He started out as a photographer, and worked his way on the air. He's covered Hurricane Katrina, the explosion of the space shuttle Columbia, and the Red River drownings of 2010.

Chris is known for telling it "like it is." He rarely minces words when it comes to storytelling. In his spare time, Chris enjoys working out, running and just relaxing on the couch, watching Sci-fi.
