Five Star Builders in Waskom, Texas was devastated by a tornado back in 2010,  and as recently as last week. Owner Rod Cory had the opportunity to compare video form 2010 to last week. He says the this year's video looks a lot stronger than the old one. Despite the fact that his business was hit twice, the number of tornadoes actually hitting the ground thought out the country this year has decreased. Bill Parker with the national weather service in Shreveport says the number of tornadoes actually forming in the area is pretty low, especially in the month of April,  which is usually the peak month for tornadoes  "Last year we had a drought, in order to get tornadoes you got have thunderstorms," Parker said. And he says it was also the long cold winter that kept the storms a bay. Parker says for the Arklatex the number of tornadoes went as high as 96 from June 2010 to May 2011, and as low as 26 from May 2012 to April 2013. Parker says out of the 26 tornadoes this season there's been one fatality and five injuries.
