Help is on the way for Arkansas farmers whose crops were damaged by a late cold snap.

The federal government has issued a disaster declaration for 68 Arkansas counties.

Much of Arkansas had freezing temperatures April seventh and eighth.

Farmers are eligible for the low-interests loans from the USDA Farm Services Agency to cover the losses. They have eight months to apply.
