Ark-La-Tex Angel Jaleesa
Jaleesa enjoys sports, drawing, singing and loves to attend church.
While Jaleesa is only 15-years-old, she already has clear goals of becoming an attorney. "I plan on graduating from high school and graduating from college. I want to major in criminal justice and I want to become an attorney," said Jaleesa.
Jaleesa has been in foster care for seven years and is living in a group home in Alexandria. Having a family of her own would mean the world to her.
"When I think about family, I think about like, a group of people who just invite me into their home and treat me like I'm one of their own children. I think about family as loving, caring, respectful, thoughtful and listens to stuff I have to say...just a good family."
If you would like to provide Jaleesa with a permanent home, contact the Alexandria Office of Community Services at (318) 487-5921.
