    Shreveport firefighters worked to save a home on the 8000 block of Jackson Square Place. The fire broke out right before 6:00 p.m. Saturday evening. Firefighters were able to put out the blaze in about 15 minutes. Fire officials say the flames started on the porch at the back of the home and spread to the attic. No one was home at the time, sadly however the homeowners lost their two dogs in the blaze. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
