The Military's search for one little boy ends in Shreveport.  Serious men with a serious mission, and a seriously great sense of humor. Airmen and soldiers serving in Afghanistan found laughter in difficult times, all courtesy of 4 little words in a letter from a school child – “Hope you make it. – Gavin” The troops wanted to meet the young man who inspired them so much.  We bring you that special meeting.

James Boothe was 16 year old and wanted to sign up for World War II. Other military branches turned him down because of his age. But the Coast Guard took him. And he helped bring down a daring attack by a German torpedo bomber."He tried to kill us," Boothe says looking at pictures of the captured bomber pilot he's saved in a scrapbook.
