Man Accused of Attacking Ex-Girlfriend
Shreveport Police Arrest Supsect
Shreveport police have arrested a local man on charges he beat his ex-girlfriend and held her against her will for about an hour inside her apartment Monday afternoon.Marcus Jackson ripped the phone out of the wall when she tried to call for help, police said.The attack happened after Jackson got upset over a cell phone message, police said. They did not disclose the details of the message. The woman was treated for several cuts, bruises and a broken jaw, police said. Jackson was booked on charges of second-degree kidnapping and second-degree robbery.
