Several neighborhood events have registered for Bossier City Night Out Against Crime which takes place tomorrow night, October 2, 2012 between the hours of 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. This year, 12 events have signed up with the Bossier City Police Department as Bossier City residents turn on outside lights and spending an evening outdoors with neighbors, police officers and firefighters in this annual crime fighting effort.
The goal of Bossier City Night Out Against Crime is to: (1) heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; (2) strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnership; and (3) send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
