SHREVEPORT, La. - Centenary cross country, Red River Road Runners and Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation (SPAR) have partnered to host a kids' cross country run on Saturday, October 16 in conjunction with Centenary's annual Invitational collegiate meet.

Centenary head cross country coach Shelley Armstrong encourages all elementary and middle school runners to participate. The kids will run a 2K race at 10:30 am following the collegiate men (9 a.m.) and women (9:45 a.m.).

The run will be located at Disc Golf Course off of Clyde Fant Parkway and Stoner Ave. in Shreveport. To participate, it is a $5 per middle/elementary school participant or $50 total for school's with 10 or more runners.

Participants may register up until 10 am on the day of the race.
