Grambling Vs. Louisiana Tech At Independence Stadium

The Grambling State University Tigers will take on the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs in the first ever meeting on the gridiron between the two teams in the 2010 Port City Classic this coming Saturday at 6 p.m.at Independence Stadium in Shreveport.

The last time Grambling played at Independence Stadium was 2003.

Tech last played at Independence Stadium during the 2009 Independence Bowl when they defeated Northern Illinois, 17–10.

There won't be any shuttles running from local malls to the stadium. The gates will open to the stadium at 3:30 p.m. with kick-off set for 6:00 p.m.

For people coming into the Shreveport area there are 3 exits off of Interstate 20 which will get you to Independence Stadium, Greenwood Road, Hearne Avenue and Jewella. Traffic will be diverted west at Greenwood and Jewella.

After the game, traffic will be diverted north at the Greenwood and Missouri intersection. Traffic will be diverted west on Hearne at the Greenwood-Hearne intersection.

Parking at the stadium will cost $10 for general admission parking and $25 for parking in the silver lot. It will cost $50 to park buses and RVs.
