River City Repertory Theater is north Louisiana’s only professional equity theater organization. Just like Moonbot, Millennium, Norththrop Grumman, Cyber Innovation and others, this theater is part of a growing number of companies that hope to bring technically savvy professionals to North LA with the promise of a strong career base. A professional theater needs a technically proficient workforce and by supporting this initiative, River City Repertory is helping to elevate our community on both a local and national level. A more available workforce means that more movies get filmed here, more national commercials get filmed here and bigger “name” professionals are drawn to us as a resource for projects. RCR's goal is to find a permanent home here in the Shreveport-Bossier area. RCR’s current production is “The Allergist’s Wife,” at Eastbank Theater in Bossier City, 7:30 pm.
