Sparky Day

In celebration of 175 years of community service and National Fire Prevention Month, SFD has planned a one-day event designed to showcase the many facets of the local fire service. SFD organizers say that "Sparky Day" will be entertaining, informative for students and parents of all ages, and they expect a large turnout. Also, the SFD will don their PINK shirts during the event to support breast cancer awareness.

Students from local public and private schools have been invited to attend the morning session while the general public is encouraged to attend the evening session.

Date: Friday, October 5, 2012
Time: Morning session: 9-11/Evening Session: 6-8.
