One of the stars of the movie "Bridesmaids" just became a bride herself.
Ellie Kemper, who's also a longtime regular on "The Office," tied the knot with Hollywood writer Michael Koman over the weekend, according to People magazine.
Kemper's rep told the mag that the couple wed on Saturday in New York, and were reportedly surrounded by Kemper's "Bridesmaids" co-star Kristen Wiig and Mindy Kaling from "The Office."
She announced her engagement on Conan O'Brien's "Conan" back in December. (Koman is a former writer for NBC's "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" and Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report.")
While Kemper told O'Brien that her family loves Koman, she did reveal that her grandfather once questioned her choice to marry the show biz writer.
She said he basically told her over Thanksgiving dinner one year to "keep her options open," relating it to a decision between pecan and pumpkin pie.
"My grandpa said, 'Ellie, what kind of pie are you gonna have?' and I said, 'I don't know ... They both look really good. I think I'll have pecan,'" she recounted.
"He said, 'Are you sure, Ellie, because it's OK to keep your options open. You don't have to settle on a pie right now,'" the actress recalled. "He was like, 'Who knows what other pies might present themselves?'"
We're guessing Kemper's quite sweet on the "pie" she picked. The ninth season of "The Office" debuts September 20.
