TEA'ed off!
Maybe that resolution by the NAACP for the TEA Party to rid itself of racial elements is doing some good. Thanks to a racially-tinged, satirical response, a TEA Party group leader has gotten the boot. Read the full story here.
With the mid-term elections looming, the sooner the TEA Party can solidify its image as a pro-fiscal conservative crowd without the baggage of some of its racially-unhinged fringe, the better for the group and the candidates it endorses. A poll by Politico has some interesting findings on the TEA Party's image among DC elites and the rest of the country, among other issues.
