"Bridge builder" expands the divide

Worse than Al Qaeda. That's what he said about America. The imam leading the way on the so-called Ground Zero mosque says we're worse than Al Qaeda.

And this guy calls himself a bridge builder? The more we hear from this guy, the more Americans will want to make a u-turn from anything he wants to build.

First, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf said U.S. policy was partly to blame for 9/11. Then he refused to acknowledge Hamas as a terrorist organization. Now this.

Meantime, the question of who's financing the mosque and Islamic community center has helped reignite a war of words between rivals Rick Sanchez of CNN and Fox's Glenn Beck.

Beck's exaggerating. Yes, there are some dumb people on tv. Sanchez is not a dumb guy. Though things can happen on live tv to make you look dumb, (like when the prompter unexpectedly says "ad lib.") But Sanchez' remark about investigating where the Catholics and Mormons put their money was, indeed, dumb.
