Labor pains
I'm working on this Labor Day. And darn happy about it. Because 1 and 10 Americans have no job to go to. Not counting those under-employed or who've given up looking for work. And it's the biggest issue this election season. That's also why President Obama is working today. I just saw him wrap up a speech in Milwaukee as he began a week of events aimed at getting the people behind his next plan to -- Gasp! Here comes the s-word again -- stimulate the economy. And in other political news on this Labor Day, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal apparantly doesn't want to help David Vitter keep his job in the U.S. Senate. And now Jindal is getting some blowback from his non-endorsement.I hope that you and yours all have gainful employment these days. And I also hope you're enjoying the day. Even if it means working.
