Bad news here: the self-proclaimed pastor ,who is planning a 9/11 mass Koran burning in Florida, says even a warning from America's top general in Afghanistan may not deter him. This was after The Obama White House also denounced the plan for the same reason -- it endangers our troops.

This guy must be warped. Now, I get the feeling he's not a big Obama guy. Just a hunch. Shocker, I know. But when Gen. David Petraeus also speaks out against your intentions for the sake of our troops, wouldn't you listen? If Terry Jones wants to hate Islam and all Muslims, I guess that's his right, misguided as it is. But don't inflame tensions and danger against our troops. We need friends over there. Not more enemies.

Amazing how one crackpot in northern Florida can ignite an international political and military firestorm. And thanks to him, there may be copycats all across the country who'll do the same. Ugly, hateful images that'll be beamed all across the globe. Gas on the fire for budding terrorists.

My wish is that somebody will get through to Jones and others like him that there's a difference between Islam, and the radical Islamic extremists bent on killing Americans. Similarly, there is Christianity, and the wackos who would bomb abortion clinics in Jesus' name. Going against that whole thou shall not kill thing.

But it may be wise to ask Jones to put away his gun as you try to get him to see the light.
