Biking To Raise Awareness

But this journey in Caddo Parish has a special purpose, it's all about raising awareness.Dennis Voyles wife learned she had a brain tumor last year. His brother-in-law died of brain cancer five years ago and his 4-year-old grandson, carson, battled a brain tumor last year.,For the next couple of days this team along with others across the country will bike, run and swim to help raise awareness. They gotten pledges for their efforts.The group is biking and running from Shreveport to Dallas then on to Oklahoma City. Each city is the home of a family cancer victim.Earlier this week they swam at the Centenary College pool in Shreveport to raise money for brain cancer research.
