Elio is now a name known world wide following the announcement that the three wheeled vehicle will be  made in Shreveport.

Financial planner Tommy Williams says, "There is already a three wheel motorcycle  out there. I don't know how popular it is but more importantly how much profit it makes."

Williams also says that Americans are big about their cars and there is nothing big about Elio, from the price to the size.

Shreveport resident Jermey Winzer told KTBS 3 News that he would buy an Elio if it comes in other colors than neon green.

Right now it is not known how many color options Elio Motors will offer or if the car will have options like navigation. Production is set to begin in 2015.
