18-wheeler catches fire on I-20 in East Texas

An 18-wheeler hauling processed chicken to Waco, Texas, caught fire this morning on Interstate 20 in Harrison County.

The truck driver told law officers he heard a loud noise before his truck caught on fire near Scottsville.

The driver and his dog got out of the truck safely. The cab of his truck was destroyed. The cargo of chicken suffered smoke damage.
