2 dead in Dallas apartment complex shooting
A Dallas man is in custody charged with capital murder after a man and woman who lived upstairs from his northwest Dallas apartment were shot dead.
A police affidavit identifies the suspect as 75-year-old Chung Kim. It said Kim had been feuding with his 30-year-old upstairs neighbors, Jamie Stafford and Michelle Jackson, over dog feces dropped onto his patio and front entrance.
Police say Kim shot Jackson, who had stepped from her front door onto a balcony. He then went upstairs to Jackson's apartment and shot Stafford as he tried to escape through the back patio door and jumped to the ground. Kim stepped onto the back balcony and shot Stafford again. Police arrested Kim nearby.
A police statement says Kim is hospitalized for treatment of a medical condition.
