Shooting Sends One Man To Hospital

SPD Investigates Another Early-Morning Shooting

Shreveport police are investigating an early-morning shooting that sent one man to the hospital.

Just before 2:00 a.m. Tuesday officers were called to the Berkshire Apartments in the 2100 block of North Hearne Avenue. A short time later, Randy Brown, age unknown, showed up by private vehicle to the emergency room at Willis Knighton North suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper leg.

Police say a .45 caliber handgun was used in the shooting.

No arrests have been made. An investigation is ongoing.
