No big winners in Saturday Lottery games

The Louisiana Lottery Corporation says nobody won the big Louisiana Lotto or multistate Powerball drawings Saturday night. That means only the state won. Everyone else who played lost their money. Louisiana Lotto players matching all six numbers would have won or shared a $400,000 prize. The prize will rise to an estimated $425,000 for the next drawing, on Wednesday. Powerball players matching all five numbers and the Powerball would have won or shared a $45.7 million jackpot. That prize will rise to an estimated $60 million for Wednesday. BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- No one won the major jackpots in the Louisiana Lotto and multistate Powerball drawings Saturday, but there was a winning ticket in the Easy 5 drawing.

Louisiana Lotto players matching all six numbers drawn would have won or shared a $275,000 prize, which will rise to an estimated $300,000 for Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Powerball players matching all five numbers and the Powerball would have won or shared the $25 million dollar jackpot. The prize will now grow to an estimated $34 million for Wednesday.

The winning Easy 5 jackpot was $221,498. The winning ticket was purchased in Patterson.

The Easy 5 jackpot will be an estimated $50,000 on Wednesday.
