Caddo sheriff's deputies arrested a 17-year-old Keithville teen for the aggravated rape of a 12-year-old runaway girl.

Justin Cody Jimes was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on charges of rape and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

Detectives say the girl ran away from home on August 28 and was picked up by a friend and taken to another friend's home in Greenwood. That's where she and Jimes had sex.

The girl's guardian reported her missing to Shreveport Police, who developed a lead regarding her location. That information was passed on to Caddo Sheriff's Detective James Willis, who located the girl at the Greenwood residence.

Jimes was arrested following an investigation and interview by Detective Robert Greer.
