Downtown Shreveport is on the move. The city had two big announcements this past week detailing development coming to the district.

One thing that will be added to the landscape is the Louisiana College Judge Paul Pressler School of Law. Southern University's Nursing School is growing. College officials are in the process of acquiring a building downtown to be used for an independent nursing program.

All this development is good news for city leaders, citizens and visitors because it's paving the way for the future. Officials say it starts with taking a look at where you've come from.
