SPD Looking For Bank Robbery Suspect

Police detectives are looking for a man who robbed a west Shreveport bank this afternoon.

At approximately 2:35 p.m. this afternoon, Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched out to the Capitol One Bank in the 6100 block of Greenwood Road.

Police say the man entered the bank and gave a note to one of the tellers demanding money. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and subsequently fled the scene. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a bald white male about five feet 10 inches tall weighing about 190 pounds with a goatee who was last seen wearing a white t-shirt. The suspect was wearing glasses at the time of the robbery.
