Two more people are in custody after an early-morning armed robbery that occurred around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Barksdale Federal Credit Union just off of Airline Drive.

Police say an employee was opening the business located in the 2700 block of Douglas Drive when the suspect rushed in with a handgun and demanded money. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The employee was not injured.

Bossier City patrol officers and K-9 units immediately converged on the area looking for the suspect. Two individuals, 22 year old Charles Bukner and 24 year old Rahsaan Alexander, were taken into custody after 8 a.m. near the intersection of Douglas Drive and Clinton Street.

Investigators also arrested 21 year old Jared Shirley and 21 year old Danielle Glenn. They're charged with armed robbery for their involvement in the crime.

Detectives have recovered the money that was taken during the robbery.

Bossier City police are asking residents of Greenacres neighborhood in the vicinity west of the crime scene to call them at (318) 741-8605 should they find any unusual items on their property as they may be related to the robbery.

If such items are located residents are urged not to touch them to preserve the integrity of possible evidence.
