SLIDELL, La. -

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office says three Slidell area boys -- ages 12, 13 and 15 -- were arrested for allegedly shooting a man outside his workplace.
The three were placed in a juvenile detention center.
A Friday news release says authorities received a call just after noon Thursday about an employee collapsing at Friction Stir Link, a business in the Slidell area. At first, it was believed to be a workplace injury.
But authorities discovered it was a gunshot.
A witness reported seeing three youths with rifles in the area. They were located at an area residence and were interviewed with their parents. The sheriff's office said they admitted firing in the direction of the business.
The victim was hospitalized. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
