He shakes their hands, hugs their necks, prays with them.
Dan Goddard loves prisoners. He use to be one.
"God pulled my out of the pit of hell."
Dan was huge -- he benched pressed 600 lbs and worked as an enforcer for the Mexican Mafia. He hurt people.
"A broken finger, arm, leg..what ever it took to get them to pay."
Eventually Dan ends up in prison, facing death treats from the Mexican Mafia.
"They told me they were going to kill me in jail, prison or on the street."
Instead of murder, Dan finds himself in a cell with an inmate who reads him the Bible every night.
"This book changed my life. I didn't know Jesus but i knew there was a God."
Dan believes that God somehow got all charges dropped against him.
He leaves prison, meets a lady in church and becomes a part of her ministry to inner city kids in Phoenix.
