For  a guy watching this guy it;s fun.  Brett Favre seemed to have it all. A record setting quarterback in the NFL, lots of money and fame; even at 40 he still loved to play the game. But when you go a little deeper, Brett has a lot to lose. Turns out the good "ole" boy from Mississippi has had some down time. Back at Southern Miss he got his girlfriend pregnant. During those early days at Green Bay he got hooked on pain medicine and alcohol, and spent months in rehab. His marriage to high school sweet-sweet heart Deanna almost ended several times, and then there was the girl in New York. Tough were tough for Brett, and also for his wife.
