One of my childhood hero's passed away this week and when I thought about the death of Andy Griffith, I was reminded of a story I did back in the 90's about a local church using the Andy Griffith Ahow to teach about Jesus.

It had to be 15 years ago - a bunch of people gathering in a church in Bossier City to watch Andy Griffith re-runs with bibles in their laps.
