The VA Medical Center is celebrating National Nutrition Month with a nutrition and food sampling expo on Wednesday, March 5, 2008, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in the Education Center. There will be dozens of food samples, coupons, nutrition information and many great door prizes!

The Canned Food Drive to benefit the Northwest Louisiana Food Pantry has been extended so entry with at least one canned food item will entitle you to an additional ticket for door prizes.

The program is presented by Nutrition and Food Service Dietitians in conjunction with the Healthier US Veterans Team.
