A mom and dad of his own would help Jake progress even more

Five year old Jake is one of more than 5,000 Louisiana children in state custody. He was born three months premature and spent the first four months of his life in the hospital. Jake has worked hard on his speech and other developmental delays and is making progress. He's no longer in special ed classes, but is on grade level in a regular classroom setting. Jake is inquisitive, fun and affectionate. He would benefit form a two parent household with a strong father.
