One person is dead following an accident in Webster Parish Friday afternoon.
It happened on Highway 371 near Franklin Rd., just south of Sibley, Louisiana.
According to Louisiana State Police a Ford Astro Van was travelling north when for unknown reasons the driver crossed the center line striking a log truck.
Authorities tell KTBS 3 News that the driver of the van was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene by the Webster Parish Coroner's Office.
The name of the deceased person has not yet been released.
Toxicology results are pending and the investigation continues.
