Accused Shreveport rapist behind bars

An accused rapist sits behind bars tonight.
24-year-old Matthew Buckingham was arrested outside a convenience store on Pines Rd. in Shreveport this afternoon.
He was wanted in connection with an alleged sexual assault that happened back on August 6th.
Buckingham was charged with one count of simple rape.
His bond is set at $100,000 dollars.
