A strong storm moved throught the metro area Friday morning resulting in power outages.
Shreveport Police continue to feel the effects, they are busy directing traffic at intersections across the city.
Cpl. Marcus Hines, Shreveport's Public Information Officer, tells KTBS 3 News that having officers direct traffic after a weather events is not uncommon. However, it can strain resources when there's more than a few traffic lights down.
