A woman was sliced with a knife and another one wound up being arrested after an argument erupted over what was described as a drug deal gone bad.

Crystal Marie Rose, 23, of Princeton, attacked the other woman with a pocket knife on Sunday, Bossier Parish sheriff's deputies said. The victim, whose name was not released, was cut on the head, face, arm and stomach and needed 52 staples and stitches to close her wounds.

She was treated and released from the hospital on Sunday but had to return for treatment of complications today, deputies said.

Rose drove away after the attack and threw the knife out of her vehicle, deputies said.

Deputies said the argument was over the delivery of the pain killer Lortab.

Rose was later arrested and booked on a charge of aggravated battery.
