WARD, Ark. -

Arkansas State Police investigators are helping investigate the shooting death of a man in the Saline County town of Ward.

ASP spokesman Bill Sadler said Friday that investigators have interviewed witnesses, collected evidence and coordinated arrangements for an autopsy in the Nov. 9 death of 21-year-old Ernest Hoskins Jr. of North Little Rock.

Sadler says Hoskins was found shot to death inside a home in Ward and that State Police were asked by Prosecuting Attorney Chuck Graham to help investigate.

Sadler says the investigation remains ongoing and that a report will be given to Graham -- who will decide whether to file charges in the case.
