It's that time of year again.
Deer hunters are headed to the woods for modern gun deer season.
The Arkansas Game & Fish Commission estimates 200,000 deer will be killed this year.
That's a small percentage considering there's about a million deer in the state.
While the hunting season is good business for many sporting good retailers, Hope Archery owner Joe Warren says it's not as good for bow hunting.
"Alot of the doe hunters are pretty unhappy about that, I'm unhappy about because it's drastically affected my business," said Warren.
Warren says the archery season in Arkansas starts early in September, but the new doe gun season in October spooks the deer and makes it difficult for bow hunters to compete.
