Arkansas officials looking into fish kill at lake

Officials say there is no threat to drinking water from the deaths of 240 fish in a Conway County lake.
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and Conway Corp. which owns Brewer lake, are collecting samples and looking into why dozens of white bass were found dead on April 6.
KTHV-TV reports that some believe the fish died from shock. The bass traveled up stream to 78-degree water to spawn, and then came back to Brewer Lake which was 66 degrees and put them in shock.
Conway Corp. said Wednesday even though there is no threat to the drinking water, they still want to know what happened.
