Man Involved In Shreveport Murder Is Behind Bars
The suspect accused of killing a man last week in Shreveport is now in police custody following his arrest in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Randy Anderson 23, of the 3700 block of Dilg League Drive in Shreveport, was taken into custody Monday evening by Bossier City Police officers after they received information from Shreveport Police officials that Anderson was believed to be at a location inside their jurisdiction.
Shortly after 6:00 p.m., on December 3, 2012, Bossier City authorities located Anderson in the 400 block of Mansfield Street after conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle in which he was riding. Anderson was booked into the Bossier City Jail as a fugitive.
After obtaining an arrest warrant, investigators with the Shreveport Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit transported Anderson to the Shreveport City Jail, where he was subsequently booked on the warrant charging him with a single count of second degree murder. Anderson was wanted in connection with the death of his brother 41 year old Timothy Anderson, who was shot multiple times inside a home on Dilg League Drive back on Saturday December 2, 2012. Anderson’s bond is set at 250,000.00.
