On Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 8:30am the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department responded to the 2300 Block of E. Broad Street in reference to a report of a robbery. The victim advised officers that he had picked up a female acquaintance at an apartment complex near 37th and State Line. As the female got into this car, the victim advised that a black male got into the back seat of the car and soon after pulled a handgun on him. The victim was ordered to drive to the carwash in the 2300 block of E. Broad where he was robbed of his wallet. Both the female and the male suspects left the scene in the victim’s vehicle.

The female suspect was identified by the victim as Miranda Steitler (w/f/31 Texarkana, TX). She has been located and arrested and is currently being charged with Aggravated Robbery and Kidnapping, both felony crimes. A second male subject was in the company of Steitler and was taken into custody on unrelated charges. He is being interviewed by investigators at this time. His involvement in this incident is unknown at this time.
