Bossier City police today arrested a woman in connection with the slaying of a man who was robbed and beaten at a Barksdale Boulevard motel five years ago.

Kimberly N. Key, 22, of Shreveport was booked on a charge of first-degree murder.

She was charged in the death of 76-year-old Henry Chaisson, who was found murdered in a room at the Mason Motel on March 3, 2003.

Police today would not disclose the suspected motive in the case. DNA evidence linked Key to the murder, authorities said.

Key was 17 years old at the time of the murder.

She was held without bond this afternoon.
