If you're out Christmas shopping this weekend and you're looking for something extra special, the Artist Christmas Open House is the place to be.
The event will host 20 local artists from Marshall, Hallsville and surrounding areas featuring unique gifts and art for the holiday season.
The event is free and will have Christmas ornaments and decorations and handmade gifts designed by local artists.
Claudia Lowery is one local artist, and says that there will be all sorts of art selections.
"Not just paintings, they're will be water color, acrylic paintings, oil paintings, there will also be pottery, handcrafted jewelry and some beautiful journals that are handmade."
The Holiday Art Fair is on December 7th, from 4 to 8 and December 8th, from 10 until 3.
