The search is on for a suspect involved in a shooting last month in Shreveport's Sunset Acres neighborhood.
Investigators with the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Unit have issued an arrest warrant for 23 year old Jimmie Durden Jr.
Police say the shooting happened on August 22, 2012 around 7:45 p.m., patrol officers and investigators responded to a shooting in the 6500 block of Quillen Boulevard where two male victims had been shot.
With the help of witnesses, authorities quickly developed a description of the shooter and based on information obtained during the investigation, they were able to name Durden as a suspect.
Durden is said to be driving a red Ford Mustang or a red Chevrolet Impala.
An arrest warrant has been signed by a Caddo District Judge charging Durden with illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and attempted first degree murder.Bond is set at 200,000.00 dollars for each charge. Durden should be considered armed and dangerous.
