Medical examiners have confirmed that the charred body found in a burned California cabin, is Christopher Dorner.
San Bernardino County sheriff's spokeswoman, Jodi Miller, said Thursday that the identification was made through Dorner's dental records.
A massive manhunt for Chistopher Dorner was launched after the former Los Angeles police officer killed four people and wounded three others in a vendetta against his old comrades.
The announcement that positively identified Dorner's body, came two days after a shootout and fire at a cabin in the mountains east of Los Angeles.
Dorner's cause of death has not been released.
