BCPD to conduct safety checkpoint

The Bossier City Police Department will conduct a safety checkpoint on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at a location north of I-20 in Bossier City.

Officers will be looking for motorists who fail to wear their seat belt or don’t have children placed in required safety restraint systems. Violators will receive citations. The checkpoint is part of the statewide Click It or Ticket campaign funded by a grant from the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission.
